This porcupine of a specimen comes to us from the Meigu Mine in Chinas Sichuan Province. The Meigu Mine has halted production (but sometimes people still mine there), but this lot comes from a miner that had sequestered this material away once the mine closed. And now I get to offer it! 

Sichuan is known for producing water clear quartz, which we see represented well here in this piece.
