Fluorite & Quartz

The mine in Tongling, Anhui, China is reportedly a mine where teams are not well equipped for mining specimens, but rather raw materials for industrial use which make these fluorites an interesting find! This variation is characterized by its yellow cubes and purple inner zoning.

This rather cluster features nice, hardy fluorite cubes covering the entire topside of the piece, albeit a small section that has quartz growth below it. The fluorite also has micro pyrite inclusions in some of the cubes! This piece is very complete, considering the size and locale.
