Fluorite & Quartz

The mine in Tongling, Anhui, China is reportedly a mine where teams are not well equipped for mining specimens, but rather raw materials for industrial use which make these fluorites an interesting find! This variation is characterized by its yellow cubes and purple inner zoning.

This piece features a large focal cube perfectly in the middle of the piece with quartz all along its matrix. There are also other fluorite pieces strewn throughout the piece! The larger cubes allow for observation of the zoning within. A really clean piece for the locale, considering most pieces get heavily damaged during the mining process.
