Fluorite

The mine in Tongling, Anhui, China is reportedly a mine where teams are not well equipped for mining specimens, but rather raw materials for industrial use which make these fluorites an interesting find! This variation is characterized by its yellow cubes and purple inner zoning.

This piece features a single large cube on a quartz matrix with a few, smaller and glassy cubes nestled along the side of the focal fluorite.
